What’s New at DBT Path: Open Enrollment and New DBT Skills Training

DBT Path, the original online DBT skills class since 2013, has several new things open right now, including live DBT skills training you can still join this summer, two brand-new offerings for clinicians and future peer educators, and founder-led training for workplace teams. Here is a quick roundup of what is new, and how to get started with each.
Our Distress Tolerance class is open now, and you can still join
Our live, online Distress Tolerance class started on June 8th, and you can still join. Classes meet live on Mondays at 4 pm Pacific, and you are welcome to jump in during the current week. There is no pressure to catch up. You can review recordings of any classes you missed if you would like to, or simply take those classes fresh when they come around again.
Distress Tolerance teaches the DBT skills for getting through painful moments without making them worse, including TIPP, STOP, and self-soothing. As with all of our classes, it is taught by the same two instructors every week, with personalized written feedback on your skills practice. If you would rather begin with the next module, Emotion Regulation starts September 7th. You can see enrollment options and join here.
New: the DBT Peer Educator training
Have you ever wanted to start your own peer-led DBT skills class? Our new DBT Peer Educator training is for people in recovery who want to teach these skills to others. It is founder Debbie DeMarco Bennett teaching the teachers, drawing on more than thirteen years of running the original online DBT skills class. The training is coming soon, and you can join the waitlist here to be first to know when doors open.
New: Lived-Experience DBT Consults for clinicians
If you are a clinician who knows the DBT protocol but wants to understand what these skills actually feel like to learn and live, our new Lived-Experience DBT Consults are for you. Each consult is one hour, one to one with Debbie, who is in recovery from BPD and cPTSD and has taught DBT skills since 2013. Ask her anything about bringing the skills to your clients in a way that truly lands. This offering is launching soon, and you can join the waitlist here.
New: Corporate and Team DBT skills training
We now bring the proven skills of DBT into the workplace through virtual, founder-led DBT skills training for teams. The curriculum covers three pillars: emotional intelligence and self-awareness, interpersonal effectiveness, and stress management and self-care, all aimed at calmer teams and clearer communication. If your organization is interested, you can learn more about corporate training or request a proposal.
