At EmotionallySensitive.com, we welcome people from all walks of life, from around the world, to take our DBT Skills course. Our mission is to provide classes and a supportive community where DBT Skills can be learned, practiced, and discussed. We gather to learn these skills so we may thrive in our relationships, schooling, career, families, etc., as emotionally sensitive people. Everyone is welcomed and embraced!
No matter what brought you here, whether it be borderline personality disorder (BPD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, bipolar disorder, a history of trauma, or any other reason, you are welcome. As we are a psychoeducational course, you don’t need to have or disclose any diagnosis to learn with us.
Our community is much more than just a classroom; it’s our safe haven. We believe that sharing our differences, experiences, knowledge, skills usage, and supportive feedback is what empowers us to stay motivated and helps us to feel less isolated.
We understand that difficult emotions may come up while learning the skills and request that respect is always shown to team members and other students, including in these moments.
