Seeking licensed therapists to co-facilitate online DBT skills classes

Fully remotePart-time and flexiblePsychoeducational teachingCo-facilitated with a peer educator

DBT Path has taught online, psychoeducational DBT skills classes since 2013, and we are growing our team of compassionate educators. If you love DBT and want to help emotionally sensitive people learn skills that change lives, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for licensed therapists who have a genuine passion for dialectical behavior therapy, who use DBT skills in their own lives, and who want to pair up with peer educators who have lived experience to co-facilitate online, psychoeducational DBT skills classes, groups, and workshops.

Please note that this is a psychoeducational teaching role, not psychotherapy or counseling. You would be co-leading skills classes, groups, and workshops, not providing therapy or clinical services.

What we are looking for

  • A current license as a mental health professional
  • A real love of DBT, ideally including using the skills in your own life
  • Warmth, and the belief that emotionally sensitive people are not broken, they are learning and healing
  • An interest in co-teaching alongside a peer educator who has lived experience

The co-facilitation model

At DBT Path, licensed therapists and peer educators teach side by side. The therapist brings clinical knowledge of the skills, and the peer educator brings the lived experience of using them. Together they create classes that are both grounded and deeply relatable, which is part of what has made DBT Path the original online DBT skills class since 2013.

What this offers you

  • A fully online, remote role you can teach from anywhere
  • A flexible way to share DBT without the weight of a clinical caseload
  • A mission-driven community that believes skills change lives
  • A chance to be part of a movement that has supported emotionally sensitive people worldwide for over a decade
